KFTM Sports Update 9/28/23

Updated: Oct 4, 2023

The Wellington Eagles scored in every inning and led from start to finish in an (18-8) victory over Brush yesterday afternoon. The eighteen runs scored by the Eagles were the most the Lady Diggers have given up this year and dropped them back to 500 with three games left to play. Brush makes their final regular season road trip Saturday to Resurrection Christian for an 11am first pitch here on hometown radio KFTM.

Coming up tonight, Fort Morgan volleyball heads to Niwot to try and halt a two game league skid against the Cougars. First serve scheduled for 6:30pm on hometown radio KFTM, 94.1 FM and online at KFTM.net.

There are still plenty of matches left to be played, but the Wiggins Tigers can put a stronghold on the league's top spot with a win tonight on the road at Merino. First serve set for 4pm. Weldon Valley volleyball is at Flagler and Fort Morgan soccer heads to Mountain View for a 4pm start to round out the day's local schedule.
