Wiggins baseball was on the road yesterday and fell to Akron 14-5. Wiggins took the lead in the top
of the 3rd inning 3-2 but Akron responded with 4 runs in the 3rd, 4th and 6th and the Tigers
managed just 2 more the rest of the game. Wiggins is now 4-6. They will get a chance to bounce
back today as they play SedgCo in a doubleheader at home. That will start at 11am.
Brush baseball took on Eaton yesterday and fell 6-2. Much like the Wiggins game, Brush took the
lead 2-1 in the 3rd but Eaton immediately responded with a run in the bottom of the 3rd to tie it and
then proceeded to score runs in the next 3 innings to pull away. Brush is now 6-4 on the season.
They will face Sterling tomorrow at 11am at home.
Fort Morgan baseball will play today on the road against Sterling at 4pm. You can listen to that game

to Fort Morgan after competing in the Drive, Chip, and Putt finals at Augusta National this past
weekend. Yesterday we went out and got to talk to him about the experience and that interview will
be up later today at medialogicradio.com/sports.
More reports have also come out about the recent firing of former Denver Nuggets coach Michael
Malone and it looks like it had been a pretty toxic environment for a while in Denver and team
president Josh Kroenke and been looking to clean house since the All-Star Break. The Denver
Nuggets take on the Grizzlies tonight at home. Tip off set for 7pm.
The Colorado Avalanche fell to the Canucks 4-1 at home last night. The Avs will now head to
California where they will play the Kings tomorrow at 2pm and the Ducks on Sunday at 8pm.
Brenton Doyle tied his career high with five RBI, hitting a leadoff homer in the first inning, a
run-scoring single in the seventh and a bases-clearing double in the eighth to lead the Colorado
Rockies over the Milwaukee Brewers 7-2 yesterday. The Rockies avoided a three-game sweep and
improved to 3-9. They start a weekend series in San Diego against the Padres tonight at 7:40pm.
After day 1 of the Masters yesterday Justin Rose is atop the leaderboard at -7. Corey Conners,
Ludvig Aberg and last year’s winner Scottie Scheffler are tied for 2nd at -4. Day 2 tee times have just
started at Augusta National.
