Fort Morgan wrestling jumped out to an early lead, but unlike Wednesday night against Fort Lupton, couldn’t hold on to it in a (40-36) home loss to Mountain View. The Mustangs won five of the 12 matches all by pin fall. Fort Morgan has today off to prepare for the Roosevelt Invite which begins tomorrow morning at 9am.
On the hardwood last night, Wiggins earned their first victories of the season in a sweep at Dayspring Christian. The Tigers boys shutout the Eagles in the third quarter on their way to a (52-23) win. No score had been reported as of this morning for the Lady Tigers. Wiggins plays in the NJC Holiday Tournament starting next Thursday in Sterling.
Coming up today, Brush boys basketball plays day two of the Weld Central tournament and matches up with Roaring Fork at 6:30pm. The only other event of the day has the Wiggins wrestling team at the two day Limon tournament starting at 1pm this afternoon.
