The Lady Warriors were down (2-1), then picked up victories in the fourth and fifth to earn the season sweep over Fleming. Wiggins heads to Briggsdale, and Weldon Valley is home to Otis at 4pm and 5pm respectively tomorrow night.

On the gridiron, the Tigers trailed (21-14) at halftime, but gave up 13 unanswered points in the second half in a (34-14) loss to the Dragons and the Warriors were doubled up against the Wildcats (50-25).

Staying with football, Fort Morgan’s Charlie Langford had four the six touchdowns along with two picks in a (42-0) shutout of Lincoln Saturday. The other two scores went to Sampson Ortega and Isaiah Ortiz as the Mustangs earned their first win of the season. Fort Morgan is back in Denver Saturday against Kennedy at 2pm.

Fort Morgan Volleyball was held winless in their three matches at the Greeley West tournament on Saturday. The Lady Mustangs were defeated (2-0) by Resurrection Christian, Loveland and the host Lady Spartans. Fort Morgan returns to league play tomorrow night at the Skyline Falcons.
