KFTM Sports Update 10/27/23

It is the final football Friday for the Wiggins Tigers and Brush Beetdiggers as they close out their regular seasons tonight on the road. The Tigers travel to the Wray Eagles for a matchup that has big playoff implications. Both teams are (5-3) overall and (2-2) in league play and sit at 7 and 9 in the selection and seeding index. Kickoff at 7pm from Wray and can be heard on our sister station AM 1440 KRDZ and online at medialogicradio.com.

As for Brush, they travel to take on the (2-5) Timnath Cubs who are also winless in the Patriot League East. The Diggers lost their chance at the league title last week against University, but still sit in the top 16 at number 13 headed into tonight’s match up. Kickoff at 7pm from Timnath.

The Fort Morgan Mustangs are on Legion field for the final time this season and welcome in the Northfield Nighthawks tonight. Countdown to kickoff presented by Northern Colorado Title is set for 6pm with kickoff at 7pm on Hometown Radio KFTM, 94.1 FM, and online at medialogicradio.com

Other local events tonight, has Fort Morgan Lady Mustang gymnastics at their regional competition, Wiggins volleyball is on the road at Wray and Weldon Valley is home to Lone Star with first serve at 4pm.
