The Brush Beetdiggers won the Morgan County Triple dual last night with impressive victories over Fort Morgan and Wiggins. The Diggers took down the host Tigers in round one - (70-12), then defeated the Mustangs (55-18). Fort Morgan closed out the night with a (60-12) win over Wiggins. The night was highlighted by Brush’s Nick Darndanes earning his 100th career victory with a pin of Austin Hall.
The Mustangs return to the mat tonight and host the Thompson Valley Eagles at Stan Lampe Gymnasium. Wrestling set to get underway at 6:30pm on hometown radio KFTM, 94.1 FM, and online at medialogicradio.com.
In hoops scores from last night, the Brush Lady Diggers lost at home to Timnath (55-40) and the boys fell on the road in a final of (53-16). Both squads are at it again tonight and entertain the Strasburg Indians at 6pm and 7:15pm.
