The Roosevelt Roughriders spoiled senior night with a (3-1) victory over Fort Morgan in their regular season home finale. Allie Geuerro led the Lady Mustangs with a match high 9 kills. Fort Morgan heads back to the road Tuesday at the Frederick Golden Eagles. First serve at 6:30pm on hometown radio KFTM.
In other volleyball from last night, Brush was swept for the third straight match at Timnath. The Lady Diggers have three games remaining on the regular season schedule and are home to Wellington on Tuesday at 6:30pm.
And Fort Morgan soccer had their two match win streak snapped as they were shut out by Niwot in a final of (three-nil). The Mustangs have their final home game on Monday against Holy Family at 4pm
Both Morgan County teams in action tonight are at home on a Football Friday. Brush entertains Weld Central at 7pm and Weldon Valley welcomes in Briggsdale this afternoon at 3pm. The only other event tonight, has a big league matchup in Weldona, as Lady Warrior volleyball is home to Briggsdale at 5:30pm
A busy Saturday gets started with Brush softball at their region two tournament in Strasburg. The Lady Diggers face Meeker at 12:15 here on hometown radio KFTM. With a win, Brush would advance to the championship at 2:30p on our sister station KAT Country 98-3 and online at medialogicradio.com
Fort Morgan football makes a return trip to Denver in search for a second straight win against the Kennedy Commanders. Our Countdown to kickoff presented Northern Colorado Tile will be condensed due to Brush Softball, but kickoff is set for 2pm here on hometown radio KFTM. There is one other football game tomorrow and it has the Wiggins Tigers on the road at Burlington at 1pm.
