Fort Morgan basketball remained winless on the season despite strong starts against Northridge last night at Stan Lampe Gymnasium. The Lady Mustangs were down one after one, before they were outscored (25-3) in the second quarter, in a (59-34) loss to the Grizzlies. Shea Ramirez led the Lady Mustangs with 13 points.

The boys cut a 14 point lead to seven after three, but struggled to score points in the final frame and fell (64-42). The Mustangs scored just four points in the fourth quarter, while Northridge needed just three scorers to hit 64 points. Drake Walker had 27, Louis Pisano with 25 and Amadrick Woods had 12. Jeriah Blake paced the Mustangs with 14.

Fort Morgan closes out their two game homestand tomorrow night against Roosevelt at 6pm and 730pm. There were two other games last night in Caliche, as the Weldon Valley Warriors battled the Buffs. The Lady Warriors lost (53-37), while no score as of this morning has been reported for the boys.

The boys next play at Nederland at 5:30pm on Friday then join the Lady Warriors back at home against Briggsdale on Saturday starting at 3pm. There is one event tonight on the hardwood as the Brush Lady Diggers travel to Windsor Charter at 6pm.
