There was a good-sized crowd of people who turned out for the United Way of Morgan County’s Town Hall meeting held in the gym of the Field House in Fort Morgan on Thursday evening.

Citizens had a chance to ask questions of the panel, which consisted of leaders from around Morgan County. The panel included Tyler Purvis from the City of Brush, Angie Vick & Jacquelyn Styles from Log Lane Village, Morgan County Commissioner Jon Becker, Craig Miller from the Town of Wiggins, and Brent Nation from Fort Morgan.

The panel answered pre-written questions, as well as questions on the spot from the audience. Questions ranged from economic development to data centers, home-rule to the NISP project.

It was an opportunity for the diverse population to get answers to questions they may not be able to ask, as there were translators for 3 different languages on hand. For more information about the United Way of Morgan County, visit their website at mcunitedway.org.
