Fort Morgan residents are asked to conserve water from February 16 to February 27.

PRESS RELEASE - The City of Fort Morgan is asking residents to conserve water from February 16, 2026,

to February 27, 2026, to allow Northern Water to conduct its annual inspection and

maintenance on the pipeline that provides residents with water.

With above-average temperatures and drier weather conditions, the available water

supply will be limited to the city reservoir.

Residents can participate in water conservation efforts by reducing non-essential water

usage. This includes reducing the use of sprinkler systems, avoiding car washes, and

running partial loads of laundry or dishes in the home.

Northern Water is expected to complete its inspection by February 23 and have the

reservoir filled by February 27.
