Fort Morgan City Council approves annexations

At the recent City of Fort Morgan City Council meeting the Director of Public Works, Tom Acre, stood at the podium with 4 separate public hearings regarding the annexation and rezoning of properties known as Enclave A #1,2 and 3, as well as Enclave B #1 and 2 in Fort Morgan.

Enclave A is the area to the west of West Street and north of Arapahoe Street, along with the land surrounding Elevating Life Church. This area will be zoned as both R-2 (medium density residential) and T (transitional).

Enclave B is between Deuel Street and Main, south of Burlington Avenue, with an area north of Brush Avenue, between Main and Ensign. It will be zoned as B-2 (general business).

Following all of the proper protocols for all 4 public hearings, the outcome was unanimous approval for each.
