Fire crews were called out to a grass fire that occurred Sunday afternoon, west of Fort Morgan, at the eastbound I-76 off-ramp to Highway 34. Fire crews and law enforcement were fast on the scene as the Fort Morgan Fire Department made quick work of extinguishing the flames before they could spread. The Morgan County Sheriff's Office provided assistance by blocking roadways around the fire until it was contained. It was just part of a very busy weekend for First Responders across the region as fire & rescue crews along with law enforcemnt spent a major portion of this last weekend (literally) putting out fires and assisting with many traffic accidents, most of which were overturned semis on roads like I-76, as well as Highways 34 & 36.

Radio, the way it's meant to be.
