Construction Closes CO 71 Until November

Colorado Department of Transportation - CO 71 in both directions: Road closed.

CO 71 is closed in both directions between I-76 (Brush) and HWY 14. Road closed, expect delays due to road construction. Until November 15, 2025, at about 5:00 PM MDT.

*There is a 24/7 full closure of CO 71 between CO 14 and I-76. Traffic will be detoured at I-76. Local access will remain open.

Detour route: Northbound CO 71 (Heartland Expressway) detour from Brush: From CO 71 in Brush, travel westbound on I-76 to Colorado Highway 52 in Fort Morgan. Head north on CO 52 to CO 14, then east on CO 14 to reconnect with CO 71. Southbound CO 71 detour from CO 14 and CO 71: Travel west on CO 14, south on CO 52 to Fort Morgan, then east on I-76 to Brush. Detour signs will guide motorists.
