Body discovered inside vehicle in tow lot in Brush - The case is under investigation

PRESS RELEASE: City of Brush Police Department - On Monday, March 16, 2026, Brush Officers were called to a suspicious incident in the 700 block of East Edison. An unknown deceased person was discovered inside of a motor vehicle in a tow lot in the area. With the assistance from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Morgan County Coroner's Office, and the 13th District Attorney's Office, a search warrant was acquired, and a search of the vehicle was performed to remove the body. Upon removal, it was determined to be an unidentified female. The case is still under investigation.
