A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center to Host Their First "Walk With Purpose"

A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado is holding our First Walk With Purpose from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 21, with eight locations to choose from:
Legion Field, Fort Morgan
Brush Secondary Track, Brush
Sterling High School Track, Sterling
Life Trails Health Park, Yuma
Rainbow Park, Wray
Baseball Field, Otis
Akron High School, Akron
Holyoke City Park, Holyoke
Join our first Walk With Purpose, where “Kids Raise Money for Kids” throughout the northeast plains of
Colorado. Students and families walk with purpose for an hour - raising support for their community!
Families in northeast Colorado look to the pregnancy center when they’re in need of diapers, formula, car
seats, and/or other infant items.
For example:
2 cases of diapers (last 1 month) = $100+
4 cans formula = $100
1 car seat = $100
1 pack and play = $100
1 ultrasound = $100
10 pregnancy tests = $100
EVERY participant who turns in a financial contribution will receive a free ice cream cone certificate.
Those who raise more will receive the following incentives:
$100 = T-shirt and $10 Amazon gift card
$101 - 499 = T-shirt and 10% of all you raised as an Amazon gift card (i.e., raise $236 = $23.60 Amazon gift card)
$500+ = T-shirt AND hoodie and 10% of all you raised as an Amazon gift card (i.e,. raise $1,200 = $120 Amazon gift card)
The mission of A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado is to provide information,
resources, and support to individuals facing pregnancy and/or parenting in Northeast Colorado.
“Having served well over 220 women in the first 6 months of 2025 demonstrates how valuable our
organization is to the communities we serve in Northeast Colorado. Each family has a story to tell and
needs that are unmet. I’m constantly surprised at how many come to us right before payday for one
more pack of diapers or one more can of formula,” says Executive Director Roberta Bigalk. “We have 46
babies born this year and provided with everything they need to bring their babies home from the hospital.
72 more babies are on the way.”

A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center is a 501 (c)3 non-profit with five locations in Yuma, Wray, Sterling,
Holyoke and Brush are providing no-cost and confidential pregnancy confirmation, Ultrasounds, and giving
closets, support services, and resource referral throughout Northeast Colorado.
All proceeds from the evening go directly to helping mothers, fathers, students, babies, and families in
