19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team - Greeley, Colo. –
On Nov. 16, 2023, around 11:47 pm, an inmate at the Weld County jail experienced a medical emergency while in custody. The inmate was transported to the Northern Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) where they were pronounced deceased. The inmate’s name will be released by the Weld County Coroner’s office once the next of kin is notified. This is an ongoing investigation; no further information will be released at this time.
The 19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team will be handling this investigation.
