The annual Colorado Broadcaster’s Association awards ceremony was held in Denver, last Saturday night, as members of Media Logic Radio were in attendance for the big event. It celebrates the achievements that broadcast companies from across Colorado accomplish from the previous year in both radio and television, in several different market sizes. The judging of materials is done by out-of-state entities, as stations compete in a range of categories, with radio and television competing separately from one another.
It’s an honor to receive even one award, but to receive several is quite an achievement. Three radio stations within the Media Logic Radio family took home a total of 14 awards for 1st and 2nd place in many respective categories. 97.5 BOB-FM took the crown at the event, taking home 10 of the 14 awards from the CBA’s this year.
BOB took 1st place in medium radio market for the following categories:
Best Radio Commercial for an Advertiser
Best On Air Contest
Best Station Sponsored Community Event
Medium Market Best Midday Show – Best Community Service Campaign
Best Use of Digital/Social Media
BOB-FM also received 2nd place awards for:
Best Station Promotion Marketing Campaign
Best Station Personality
Best Station Website
Best Station Imaging Campaign.
Media Logic Radio also took home 4 awards for small radio market.
Three went to Yuma’s 100.9 FM with a 1st place award.
Best Commercial for an Advertiser
2nd place awarded:
Best Station Promotion Marketing Campaign
Best Sports Coverage by an Individual/Team.
And KATR-FM, also known as Kat-Country 98.3-FM took home a 2nd place award:

It’s great to win these awards, and shows that at Media Logic Radio, great content, great commercials, great events and great strategies, along with great music, makes ‘Radio the way it was meant to be’.
